While we recently attended the Renaissance Fine Arts Festival in Ridgeland, Mississippi, we were spotted by VIP, Jackson's premiere (free) who's who magazine. Photographers from this magazine cover only the finest social events, and they usually capture Jacksonians who are dressed to impress. Okay, so Lauchlin did mostly design our t-shirts. This photo rivals the one from "Bluffs and Bayous" with Gov. Haley Barbour from last year.
Don't we look hot? Well, we were!

Tell Her About It

We attended May's last dance recital. She's decided to move on to gymnastics from here. Still, she is one of the better dancers we saw dancing through the decades. Here she is dancing to one of Billy Joel's 1980s hits...

Home Grown

The successful first fruit of our labor. We called him "Tom," and then we called him delicious! We look forward to many more hearty tomatoes and herbs this summer. We will enjoy them with the other fresh veggies we plan to buy by the boat load at the VFM!

Bring On the Art...

We're all geared up to work another Renaissance Fine Arts Festival. It's this weekend at The Renaissance at Colony Park in Ridgeland. If you're in the market for some art, it's a great place to shop. You can always just look or come simply to see us.

Lost...

In your eyes?
We watch Lost with Katie every week that we can, and this week was no different. As the series finale approaches, we're getting pretty sad that this is the last Tuesday we'll get together to watch the show and have dinner. Mojo will miss Katie's company...especially her baby belly.

Weekend Visits

We visited with the McHan family on the porch this weekend. Sabol really likes the porch...


And, we also had a chance to visit with Lucy, May and Ellen at Fox's Pizza...



May ate Lauchlin's leftovers...right down to the tomatoes!



And Ellen promptly passed out on her mom after dinner.

Jazz It Up!

We had a good time working the H.C. Porter booth at Jazz Fest this past weekend...



We broke out the festive hats and sunglasses to wish away the rain. Olivia sported rain boots just in case.



We spent some time in the French Quarter with Lauchlin's aunt and unlcle, Beth and Steve.




Steve scored us a room with a view one block off Bourbon...




We ate oysters...raw and cooked three different ways...







And liked them!



Our booth was right between the gospel and the blues tents. We heard some good music where we were, but, mostly, we saw people hearing some great music...
