Dear Santa

Apparently, our beer and soft drink consumption is so massive that our can crusher just couldn't take it anymore!



It hasn't even been a year since this convenient household item came into our lives, minimizing our heap of recyclable aluminum and, thus, making our Ives - and Earth - better.
But, its time in this world is over. We were warned by Ned and MB (fellow and former Kitchen Collection can crusher owners) that the crusher was on its way out.
How ever did they guess?! Could it be the mangled metal arm seen below?


Knowing we won't be able to live long without our crusher, we've decided to ask Santa for a replacement. But, this time, we're not kidding around!

Baby, Baby

Lately, we've been surrounded by much baby happiness. Last weekend, we helped host a baby shower for Ned and Mary Beth at our house.



We made sure it was not a typical baby shower so the boys could come be part of the fun. We had fried chicken, cupcakes in the shape of an "M" and a diaper cake:



Oh, and, plenty of alcohol!






Sandy even brought out her inflatable sombrero cooler to spice up the occassion. And, Manu got in the spirit of things too!




Baby M scored some good books...


And this onesie we provided for the newest team addition:




Baby excitement was extended Wednesday when we were the guests of honor at a lovely dinner at Team Mitchell's house. It was china night - and they even pulled the stickers off the soup bowls for us! We were very honored.
Baby M and Baby Mac had a little QT over dinner. Both babies are growing so fast!
