We helped Sandy spruce up her new digs with some H.C. Porter art before the big housewarming party tonight!


Her previous purchase of "Delta Blues" set the stage for a whole collection of it...



Sandy's all-time favorite, "Fish Cleaning," has taken a prominent role in the living room...


And "Bernice" is nice and cozy in the keeping room...


"Watermelon Truck" was also right at home in the dining room...



We'll see if this art test drive turns our new neighbor into a true collector. Now, on with the party!

Sex and the Salad

We finally started our summer "supper club" with Sandy.



Our mission: make it through the entire Sex and the City series while eating our way through our salad cookbook...


Hopefully, we can keep up the momentum.

Rebel Mojo

Mojo, all healed and back to normal, is excited about being a contender in the race for a new Ole Miss mascot.

Of course, Clementine, for obvious reasons, thinks she is a better candidate...

Baby Love

We are so excited about Desmond Grady Carter, who was born Thursday. Lauchlin went with Sandy and Xandi on Friday to take his mom, Katie, dinner.


She fell in love! He is so sweet and cuddly and, of course, beautiful. Olivia met him today, and quickly joined the fan club.

We can't wait for them to be able to come to the porch and hang out with us. He has lots of love waiting for him here, that's for sure.
