Meeting the Family

The perfect day to end the perfect Spring Break....We met Sandy; Grady's puppy, Bernadette; Sandy's mom, Olivia, and her sis and nephew at the neighborhood park last Sunday to picnic and show off the baby.  

 Grady really loved seeing the other boys from the block.  (Above:  trying in vain to gain their attention)

David came along (adorned in shamrocks) on the one condition that Sandy let him play angry birds.  Grady, paci in mouth, impressed us all by sitting in the grass and trying to eat weeds while Bernadette evidently lost a game of jumpleash.

The Saturday of March 17 marked the 30th Annual St. Paddy's Day Parade in Jackson.  We don't usually attend, but one of our favorite bands, The Red Hots, was playing at St. Andrew's Cathedral, so we headed over and met up with pal, Sandy.  

 The cathedral's patio was nicely shaded, which we realized more after we left than while we were there.
